War is a creation of people, battles are inventions of hearth but peace is the worst of those three words, maybe because is the most expensive political action in the world. Nevertheless wars are like an ugly soup because you see something you really hate, ugly colors, unpleasant textures and horrible appearance. But do you remember when your mom or your dad used to tell you that if you drink all the soup, you will grow healthy and strong. It is the same in war.
During battles some people earn lots of money, others channeled their frustrations with guns and also entertain the audience with a great show which durations could be of years or decades. That show is a way for selling products, ideas or fashion. The example of magazines about war, some video games of the same topic and thousands of toys show us the importance of this activity.
By the way there are lots of publications which have been based of war experiences, other which just try to publish some of the images of destruction and power and why not, the case of hundred of movies where heroes villains and victims play ay the best scene ever created.
This is a man who used to work thanks war, his function was to share expressions, images, sensations, feelings and more. His bossed used to say it is because people love it, and thinking in the correct way, it is not a crazy declaration, it is just a negation that society produces in order to avoid true because it is shameful. He was the battle painter who lived art like an expression of human condition; war was one of those conditions.
